One job, start to finish
1. Sign up, then start
You: Sign up free with no card. The first time you send a quote or invoice, Zappy asks for your business address and bank details, then puts them on everything after. Your logo and colour live in Settings.
Your customer: Every quote, invoice and certificate arrives with your name, logo and colour on it.
2. Do the certificate on site
You: Photo the board and the circuits land in the schedule. Photo a defect and the observation comes back worded, ready for your code. Give the result, sign on the phone and press Issue and send.
Your customer: A short email with the signed PDF attached.
3. Quote the work
You: Describe the job by voice or let AI draft it, or tap Quote the fixes on an EICR (Zappy Pro). Offer extras they can tick, add a deposit, then send it by email, or by text on Zappy Pro.
Your customer: Opens it on their phone, ticks the extras they want, taps Accept quote and signs with their name. With a deposit, a deposit invoice follows for them to pay.
4. Invoice from the quote
You: Convert to invoice carries the client and the accepted items over and takes the paid deposit off. Send it by email, or by text on Zappy Pro.
Your customer: Sees what they owe and when, and pays by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The money goes straight to your Stripe account and the invoice marks itself paid.
5. Get paid without chasing
You: Send reminder writes one worded by how late it is, free on every plan. On Zappy Pro, Chase unpaid invoices does the reminding for you.
Your customer: Gets reminders until they pay. They stop the moment it's paid.

1. A homeowner posts a job. New Leads shows jobs in your coverage: the job, photos, the postcode area and how many quote slots are filled.
2. Check it first. Run JobScope for a free AI brief: a summary, a price guide, watch-outs and questions to ask.
3. Quote if you want it. Quoting costs Zapps, and you always see the cost before you send. Only three electricians can quote on a job.
4. They choose you. You get their address, and their number if they kept it private. Sort the details in chat or give them a call.

The free plan gives you 5 quotes, 5 invoices, 2 certificates and 5 AI actions a month, with no card needed. Zappy Pro makes them unlimited and adds automations, texting quotes and invoices, and Xero and QuickBooks sync.
Questions electricians ask
Do I need to be registered with a scheme?
Not for the tools. Any electrician can use the certificates, quotes and invoices. To quote on local jobs you need Part P or equivalent and registration with NICEIC, NAPIT or a similar body. We review those applications within 48 hours.
Can I use it for customers I found myself?
Yes. Quotes, invoices and certificates work for any customer, from Zappy or not.
How do my customers pay?
Connect Stripe under Settings > Getting paid and every invoice carries a Pay button: card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, straight to your own Stripe account. They can also copy your bank details for a transfer, and you record it with Record payment.
What if there's no signal on site?
Certificates and quote drafts save on your phone and sync when you're back online. You need signal to send, and photos need signal to upload.
Do I get jobs outside South Yorkshire?
Not yet. The tools work anywhere in the UK, but jobs from homeowners are live in South Yorkshire only. More areas coming.
