EIC certificate app: Electrical Installation Certificates, signed off on site.

New circuits, board changes and rewires certified from your phone. Every board's schedule, the declarations in the form's order, and a reminder to notify building control. Free plan, no card needed. 100+ electricians run their business on Zappy.

The whole EIC, in the form's order.

From the design to the schedule of test results, one step at a time.

Snap the board, the circuits fill in. Photograph each board and AI drafts its circuit list from the labels and breakers. You add the readings.

Every board on one certificate. Add the garage consumer unit or a sub-main. Each board gets its own schedules on the PDF.

Say the circuit, it fills in. Describe a circuit out loud and its details fill in for you to check, so you're not typing with cold hands.

Declarations the way the form has them. Separate design, construction and inspection signatures, or one combined declaration when you did it all.

Building control, never forgotten. Issue an EIC and Zappy reminds you to notify through your scheme, with the 30-day deadline.

Start from a template. Six starters for common UK homes, or save your own. Readings, ticks and signatures always start blank.

Renewals that book themselves. When the installation is due an inspection, your client gets a reminder with your booking link in it. (Zappy Pro)

Certify it, then get paid for it.

The EIC, the invoice and the reminders, for any customer, from Zappy or not.

EICs and every other certificate you issue

Electrical Installation Certificates in the model form's order, with every board's schedules and the declarations signed on site. EICR, Minor Works, PAT and EV charge point certificates too.

Board photo to schedule. Photograph the consumer unit and the circuits land in the schedule, ready for your readings.

Readings checked as you go. Max Zs fills in from the breaker, and any reading over its limit is listed before you sign.

Building control on time. Issue an EIC and Zappy reminds you to notify through your scheme, with the 30-day deadline.

Next year's starts from this one. Start a reinspection from last time's EICR with the boards and circuits already in.

EICR: Condition reports with observations, codes and photos.

EIC: Installation certificates, with more than one board when you need it.

Minor Works: The one-page certificate for a single circuit or an addition.

PAT: A register filled from photos of rating plates, the tester or your test sheet.

Quotes, accepted online

Say what the job is and Zappy drafts the quote. Price materials from trade prices, send it on WhatsApp, and your client accepts, books and pays the deposit from their phone.

Talk, don't type. Describe the job out loud. Zappy drafts the lines and you check the prices.

Materials at trade prices. Typical UK trade prices for cable, boards, accessories and EV chargers, with your markup added.

Sent where clients reply. Send by WhatsApp or email. The link preview carries your logo.

Declined? You'll know why. Clients can decline with a reason, and the follow-ups for that quote stop.

Invoices with a Pay button

Every invoice has a card payment link, straight to your Stripe. Deposits and part payments come off the balance on their own.

Card payments, to your account. Clients pay by card from the invoice, and the money goes to your own Stripe account.

Paid in instalments? Fine.. Record bank transfers, cash or card as they come in. The balance updates itself.

Credit notes done properly. Take money off a sent invoice with its own number and PDF, without editing the original.

Ready for your accountant. Export a tax year with VAT and CIS in their own columns, or send invoices to Xero or QuickBooks on Pro.

Chasing that runs itself (Zappy Pro)

Set it once. Emails go out in your name until the invoice is paid or the quote gets an answer.

Unpaid invoices. Reminders 3, 7 and 14 days after the due date. They stop when it's paid.

Quiet quotes. A nudge 2 and 5 days after you send, so a good quote doesn't go cold.

Review requests. A couple of days after a job is paid, your client is asked for a review.

Renewals. Before a certificate runs out, your client is reminded and can book the re-test.

Appointment texts: A text or email when you book, move or cancel a visit, a reminder before you arrive, and On my way on the day.

Every email in your words: Change the timing and the wording in the builder. They go out in your name.

Jobs and calendar

The quote, bookings, certificates and invoices for the same work sit together in a job, with the next thing to do. Your calendar and booking page keep the visits in order.

Your own booking page. Clients pick a visit type and a free slot in your brand colour, and it lands in your calendar.

Call or directions in one tap. From any booking. Mark it done, cancelled or a no-show afterwards.

What each job made, on Pro. Add materials and costs to a job and see the profit, not just the invoice total.

One app, instead of three bills

A typical setup is a certificate app from about £18 a month, a job management app from about £28 a month, a separate way to take card payments, and leads paid for one by one. On Zappy, certificates, quotes, invoices and card payments are in one app: £0 to start, £7.99 a month on Pro.

Free to start. Pro when you're busy.

Free: 5 quotes and 5 invoices a month, 2 certificates a month and 5 AI actions a month. No card needed.

Zappy Pro, £7.99 a month, with a 7-day free trial: unlimited quotes, invoices and certificates, unlimited AI (subject to fair use), automatic payment reminders and accounting sync. Cancel before day 8 and you pay nothing.

Local jobs, live in South Yorkshire. More areas coming. On both plans you only pay when you choose to quote.

Your next EIC, signed before you leave.

Set up in two minutes, then certify the next board you fit.

EIC questions electricians ask

When do I need an EIC rather than a Minor Works certificate?

An EIC is for a new installation or a new circuit, which includes a consumer unit change or a rewire. A Minor Works certificate covers an addition or alteration to an existing circuit, like an extra socket or a moved light. Zappy has both.

Does the EIC follow the official form?

Yes. It follows the IET model form's order, with separate declarations for design, construction, and inspection and testing (or one combined declaration), the schedule of inspections, and circuit details and test results for each board. The next inspection shows as a date and as a maximum interval.

Can one EIC cover more than one board?

Yes. Add a board on the testing step and switch between them with tabs. Each board has its own details and circuits, and its own schedules on the PDF.

Does it remind me to notify building control?

Yes. When you issue an EIC, Zappy reminds you to notify through your scheme, with the 30-day deadline on the certificate and in your home screen list. Tick it off once it's done.

Can I use templates?

Yes. Start from one of six starter templates, from a modern RCBO board to a full rewire, or save any finished EIC as your own. Supply, boards and circuits fill in; readings, ticks, signatures and the client always start blank. Templates are free on every plan.

Is the EIC app free?

Yes, there's a free plan you keep, with a set number of certificates every month and no card needed. Zappy Pro is £7.99 a month for unlimited certificates, and you can try it free for 7 days.

Do I need to be registered with a scheme to use it?

No. Anyone can use the certificate tools. If you're with NICEIC, NAPIT or another scheme, add your registration number and logo in Settings and they print on every certificate.

Is there an app to download?

No app store needed. Zappy runs in your phone's browser and adds to your home screen like any other app. It works on a laptop or tablet too.
